Jeff and Faith Oliver
Jeff Oliver graduated from Rhema Bible Training College in Tulsa, Oklahoma, before serving seven years as a lead pastor in Clermont, Florida, and marrying his wife and sweetheart, Faith, in Fayetteville, North Carolina in 2004.
Jeff was a Christian Education Director for a large independent Pentecostal church in Lakeland, Florida, in 2006 when he began studying Pentecostal history and learned that the Pentecostal and charismatic movements had precursors in other movements dating back to the 18th and 19th centuries. But it seemed no matter how far back he went, there was always more. Finally, he heard the Lord challenge him one day saying: “Why don’t you go back to the day of Pentecost where it all began and study church history in the order that the events actually took place?” Jeff accepted that challenge and what he learned was nothing short of shocking and amazing.
In 2016, Jeff founded Global Wakening, a ministry that is inspiring and equipping a new generation with a supernatural Christian worldview. Jeff is currently on the pastoral staff at MorningStar Fellowship Church in Fort Mill, South Carolina.
Faith Oliver is the daughter of an Assemblies of God pastor and missionary to the Native Americans. Growing up in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and on Indian reservations in Minnesota, Wisconsin, the Dakotas, and Canada, Faith knew that “toughing it out” on the mission field would one day enable her to help others. Using historical women of faith as role models, Faith desires to see women operate in their gifts and calling both in ministry and in the home.
Faith received her education at North Central University in Minneapolis. She has served as a senior sales director for Mary Kay Cosmetics, as a volunteer coordinator for Youth for Christ, a women’s counselor, and more than twelve years as a certified medical coder.
Faith also makes her own unique line of high quality, affordable Christian and prophetic jewelry. Faith combines the ancient craft of seed and loom beadwork from the Native Americans with modern beadwork techniques for a truly unique design. Her jewelry is currently on display at the MorningStar Bookstore in Fort Mill.
