Jeff and Faith Oliver
Jeff Oliver graduated from Rhema Bible Training College in Tulsa, Oklahoma, before serving seven years as a lead pastor in Clermont, Florida, and marrying his wife and sweetheart, Faith, in Fayetteville, North Carolina in 2004.
Jeff was working as a Christian Education Director for Family Worship Center in Lakeland, Florida, in 2006 when he began studying Pentecostal history and soon learned that the Pentecostal movement had precursors in other movements dating back to the 18th and 19th centuries. But it seemed no matter how far back he went, there was more. Finally, he felt the Lord challenge him one day saying: “Why don’t you go back to the day of Pentecost where it all began and study church history in the order that the events actually took place?” Jeff accepted that challenge and what he learned was nothing short of shocking and amazing in light of an abbreviated Pentecostal history.
In 2016, Jeff founded Global Wakening—a ministry that is inspiring and equipping a new generation with a supernatural Christian worldview that will help ignite a global wakening of God’s church.
Faith Oliver is the daughter of an Assemblies of God pastor and missionary to the Native Americans. Growing up in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and on Indian reservations in Minnesota, Wisconsin, the Dakotas, and Canada, Faith knew that “toughing it out” on the mission field would one day enable her to help others.
Faith received her education at North Central University in Minneapolis. She has served as a senior sales director for Mary Kay Cosmetics, as a volunteer coordinator for Youth for Christ, a women’s counselor, and more than twelve years as a certified medical coder.
